Meet the Cranes101 Team

Jennifer Sturm


In 2017, Jennifer’s company, JT Sturm Corporation, purchased the divisions of Sturm Corporation, her father’s company that has been established since 2001. Those divisions include Cranes Aerial Truck Service, Cranes101, and Cranes101 Online.

Jennifer had started with Sturm Corporation while she was still attending high school. Growing up in the construction safety industry, she has gained a unique perspective that enables her to communicate industry regulations and changes in safety to the public. Her involvement has led her to meet with some of the highest regarded safety pioneers in the industry.

Jennifer’s ability to understand the ins and outs of the industry while keeping the end-user in focus helps JT Sturm Corporation in building programs that are consumer-friendly and up-to-date.

Steve is the newest trainer to join the Cranes101 team. His background in safety is extensive, ranging from planning procedures and transportation of construction equipment, operations of varied machines, to mechanical repairs and maintenance.

Steve’s background also includes service with the Canadian Armed Forces (Navy). His knowledge of safety in this industry is remarkably diverse, making him an excellent addition to the Cranes team.

Randy joined the Cranes101 team in 2006 from years of working in the government safety industry at Hanscom Air Force Base. He came to us with 20+ years experience as an engineering equipment operator, and also worked as a safety consultant for Hurricane Katrina.

Randy is our only safety trainer who also doubles as a safety inspector, and we truly value his range when it comes to safety.

Bill brings to Cranes101 a unique perspective. He comes from the repair side of the industry. His widespread knowledge of hydraulic repair and maintenance exposed him to safety through performing state and federal inspections on heavy equipment.
