DESCRIPTION:This training course and assessments have been designed to comply with the qualified rigger requirements of subpart CC – Cranes and Derricks in Construction\, as specified in 29 CFR 1926.1401\, 1926.1404\, and \n1926.1425. Competency in these safety standards will allow new operators to understand their role in creating and maintaining a safe work environment. \n  \n\nSling Capacities\nWire Rope Slings\nCapacity Charts\nChain Slings\nSynthetic Web Slings\nThe Rigging Triangle\nThe ABC’s of Sling Selection\nInspection Procedures\n\n  \nAt the conclusion of the studies a final exam will be given. \nUpon successful completion of the course\, each student will receive a certificate of completion and a wallet card. Certification is valid for 5 years.
