Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (Personnel/Boom/Aerial/Scissor Lift Operator Safety Training) – Kendall/Vicinity Energy – Cambridge MA – PRIVATE
This mobile elevated work platform operator safety training course is a focused operations and safety training for operators. All MEWP varieties (Personnel Lifts, Boom Lifts and Scissor Lifts) are covered in this class. A completion of safety training certificate is awarded by Cranes 101.

- The mechanics of the personnel lift
- Daily inspections
- Fuel/Electric storage
- ANSI and OSHA standards
- Safe practices
- Proper care and maintenance
- Physics 101
- Suspension trauma
- Working near power lines
This training meets or exceeds all requirements of OSHA 1910.67 and ANSI A92.22.
For full compliance with OSHA, hands-on operator evaluations are required. While this can be done by a supervisor, most of our customers prefer a 3rd party evaluation. Cranes101 offers these evaluations at a discount when combined with the safety training course.
Operators receive a certificate of evaluation as well as a wallet card which includes the make, model and serial number of the equipment they were tested on.
Training Length
- 3 to 4 Hours for the course
- allow 10-15 minutes for each operator qualification to be included. Maximum of 14 evaluations per class
