This course is best designed for experienced operators and mechanics who are interested in becoming the on-site inspectors for their company.

A one-day course covering FRA 49 CFR 214 standards, inspection procedures, component identification, recordkeeping, and a walk-around equipment inspection. Certification is valid for 5 years.

A hi rail gear truck must be available for the walk around inspection portion of the course.
