Cranes Chronicles – August 2023 – 103rd Edition

An Exciting End to Summer

Cranes101 is proud to announce our newest online course offering: Rhode Island Mobile Crane License Preparation. This course is uniquely designed to guide you towards success in obtaining the Hoisting Engineer Crane Operator License in RI. Just make sure you apply for their state exam first with this form.

In addition to our exciting course launch, we want to draw your attention to a critical update. Massachusetts operators, take note: the process for receiving hoisting engineer licenses has undergone a significant change. The Office of Public Safety and Inspections has ceased mailing physical licenses, moving towards a more streamlined online system. Learn more about this transition and its implications for you in our featured article: Massachusetts No Longer Mailing Hoisting Engineer Licenses. Staying informed is key to staying ahead, and we’ve got you covered.

We’re also excited to share that our very own Jack Guinan will be representing Cranes101 at two significant upcoming events.

  1. Utility Expo – Louisville, KY (Sept 26-28) Jack is gearing up to participate in the Utility Expo, a premier event that brings together professionals from the utility and construction industries. This event promises to showcase the latest innovations, technologies, and trends shaping the field. Jack will be at Booth #N823.
  2. National Safety Council Conference – New Orleans, LA (Oct 23-25) Following that, Jack will be heading to the National Safety Council Conference in New Orleans. Safety is paramount in heavy equipment operation, and this conference serves as an invaluable platform to explore the best practices and insights that ensure the well-being of all those involved. See him at Booth #5037.

As we propel towards these events and continue to shape the future of safety, you, our dedicated community, remain at the heart of our efforts. Stay connected to stay ahead – anticipate more announcements, insights, and opportunities that are tailor-made to support your journey as a skilled crane operator.

Stay safe, and let’s keep reaching for new horizons together!
