In an effort to reduce worker fatalities in the tree and landscaping industries, OSHA announced a Regional Emphasis Program for Region 2 (NY, NJ, PR, and the US Virgin Islands). This REP will run until September 2028, raising awareness of job-site hazards specific to these industries, as well as targeted health and safety inspections.
